Acupuncture is an ancient practice that promotes balance and well-being. It involves placing very fine, sterilised, single-use needles at specific points around the body, which stimulates and boosts energy, balances the system and creates harmony in body and mind.
Acupuncture is effective at alleviating pain and helping with fertility, skin and digestive disorders as well as improving sleep, mood and much more.
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese therapy using dried mugwort. The heated moxa stick is applied to specific parts of the body in order to remove stagnation of blood and energy, stimulate circulation and alleviate pain. It also introduces heat into the body where needed.
Chinese Cupping is an ancient practice where special cups are placed on the skin to create suction. This technique brings blood to the area, which promotes healing. Cupping stimulates circulation, removes stagnation of the blood and body and reduces symptoms of pain and excess heat. It is also excellent for people suffering with coughs, colds and respiratory issues.
Cupping offers similar benefits of a deep massage.
Electro-Acupuncture is where a small electric current is passed between a pair of needles. This form of acupuncture is particularly beneficial when treating injuries and alleviating pain.
